Knockout Kobern-Gondorf-4
Kobern-Gondorf has some of the oldest half timbered houses in Germany with a lot dating to the early 14th century this authentic feel adds to the already abundant charm of the village.
With all the castles and wineries to visit do not overlook the market square in Kobern with the Tatzelwurmbrunnen ( you have to see this little creatures statue), which represents the winding Mosel, as well as what is Germany’s probably oldest half-timbered house.
As with most things in Germany everything was so well taken care of and clean in the village it was like they just finished pressure washing the place there were flowers in the windows, fresh paint on the houses, and plaques designating historical buildings, the red carpet was rolled out for those that cared to take advantage of it.
I took this with my D750 and Tamron SP 24-70mm 2.8 G2 Lens processed in LR, PS luminosity masks and DXO Nik
Disclaimer: Not trying to be realistic in my editing there is enough realism in the world, my style is a mix of painterly and romanticism as well as a work in progress.
