Formerly an experiment in urban redevelopment, Laclede Town was mixed housing in income, age, race and ideals. Federally funded as a part of The Great Society, the area fell into decline as the city around it depopulated. After 30 years, the area was demolished, not long after these photos in the winter of 95. Taken with an A-1.
