The tour after party was held at the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, an art gallery, museum and wayfarer's chapel high in the Catalina Foothills. This hand-built gallery was designed by artist Ted DeGrazia and constructed under his supervision. It is decorated with the paintings of DeGrazia and has thick adobe walls, buttressed corners, and rounded building forms that evoke the architectural expression of New Mexico, but the gallery is done in more of a folk tradition. The Mission in the Sun chapel building is open to the air, creating a peaceful, contemplative space. The isolation this complex once enjoyed has been compromised by the growth of homes in this part of the foothills.
