Edward Cosgrave Memorial Tractor Run 2013 - Return to Longwood Village - August 2013
This is a photograph from a set of photographs taken at the assembly, departure, intermediate stage, and return of the 3rd Annual Edward Cosgrave Tractor Run held in Longwood village, Co. Meath, Ireland on Sunday 18th August 2013 from 14:00 onwards. The organisers welcomed all types of tractors big and small to the Fair Green in Longwood (goo.gl/maps/jAQbD). However the organisers took care to separate out vintage tractors and machinery from the more modern tractors. The event commemorates the memory of the late Edward Cosgrave. On the day the event enjoyed some nice weather with sunny spells. The photographs here will show the assembly of the tractors which some tractors individually photographed. This photograph is taken as the tractor run returns to Longwood village at the conclusion of the run.

All of the funds raised will go towards Rehab's Children's Respite Services in Navan. The Meadows Children's Respite in Navan offers both residential and day respite to children with disabilities between the ages of 6-18yrs. The service opened in 2007 and now offers respite to over 70 families in Co. Meath with many more on our waiting list. Over 130 tractors took to the roads of Meath in the last two years, raising over €13,000 for these Rehab services in County Meath.
