Earwig
Pity I didn't keep one and examine it under the microscope or at lease measure it. I'm assuming its the common species but it was a lot larger than the typical earwigs I usually see.
The name "earwig" comes from the rumor that these insects crawl into human ears and enter the brain, but this is of course false. They are in fact harmless.
