Britannia, the floating palace: 3

This is Queen Elizabeth’s bedroom on the Royal Yacht Britannia. Not as lavish as one might expect for a reigning monarch, but at least she had proper windows rather than a couple of portholes.

 

The Royal Yacht, much loved by the late Queen, was in service between 1954 and 1997 and is now a major tourist attraction berthed in Leith, Scotland. More details are here.
