'A host of golden daffodils'
It’s still early March and it’s cold out there – but the sight of cheerful, bright daffodils is a welcome sign that spring is on its way, and my spirits soar.
Captured on a mobile phone in the gardens of Osterley Park, the National Trust property in Isleworth, west London, England. Osterley Park is regarded as one of the last surviving country estates in London, covering hundreds of acres. Here the visitor can enjoy formal gardens, lakes, ornamental vegetable beds, meadows and woodlands – plus Osterley House itself, redesigned by Robert Adam in the late 18th century.
