Wheeeeeeee!

Parks and open spaces are about recreation, ambling, smelling the flowers, gentle exercise and so-on… but when they provide a zip wire, they’re also about fun. Morden Hall Park, the National Trust open space in south London, has done exactly that, so Liang seized the moment (and the zip wire) while I merely pressed the shutter!

 

Morden Hall Park covers 125 acres and was once a deer park in a private estate. The River Wandle meanders through the grounds, creating a haven for walkers and wildlife alike – not least a large rose garden and a substantial wetland area. Oh, and let’s not forget the zip wire…
