Bannockburn Memorial

by Peter Brun

I come from South of England near enough to see France across the Channel on a clear day. It occured to me that it is far easier to be patriotic as a Scotsman here and fly the national flag than it is to do the same back home with the flag of St. George. Sadly we would run the risk of being accused as a right wing extreemist and I am far from being that. I get the same feeling visiting Wales where the Welsh flag is very evident.
