Napoleon's trees

Walking in France, along a GR Footpath –one of over 60,000 km of organized, long distance footpaths in France. We walked from village to village and town to town along this ancient route, staying in hikers hostels and the occasional inn (camping is also possible). Like much of the rest of Europe, cars are starting to destroy this area, so be sure to leave yours at home! The area is fully accessible by France's wonderful train system, then by foot or by bike.
