Yellow Warbler - Pauline jaune

This bird is in its 'zone': scouring the underside of shrub leaves for insects, moving in and out of the sun and shade. I have several images from this encounter, but this is one of the few where I managed to get some catchlight in its eye.

I have many more images from the fall migration because the energy and pace of the migrating birds in the spring feel like a shock after the slower pace of winter birds.
