Nycticorax nyticorax - night heron with juvenile - S'Albufera Nationial Park, Mallorca. An early morning start (7am) and the scrapes were packed with egrets and herons of all sorts. Almost with a ringing of a bell, the scrape cleared and the birds sheltered in the reed beds. Visitors after 9am will struggle to see anything.
