Autumn Beeches

My first visit to this photogenic location near Matlock. I didn't have a tripod and despite some rays of light getting through the canopy it was quite gloomy so I had to use a larger than ideal aperture, contributing (along with operator error) to the out of focus areas in the foreground. Thanks to Neil Shaw for sharing the location some years back.
