Goldfinch on Bramble
Since the latest lockdown started I've only taken my camera as far as the back garden. I've taken hundreds of images of the handful of bird species that are regular visitors, experimenting with various perches and backdrops. So often the birds don't arrive at the same time as the good light but yesterday we had almost unbroken sunshine and this Goldfinch obliged by posing nicely on a sprig of Bramble I'd placed next to the sunflower hearts!
