Tablet pick up
Bournemouth's 4MT 76025 collects the single line token at Midford using the Whitaker tablet exchanger equipment.
This was taken on the third film I got for the Cresta 2 camera I had been given. The film managed to become mislaid after I took it out of the camera and I found it eight years later
This was on a Saturday afternoon at the end of April 1963 when I cycled to Midford, my bike can be seen leaning against the end of the platform.
Amazed that I managed to capture the tablet exchange.
The BR Western Region fitted a GWR semaphore signal here, looks so out of place!
I have posted this before, but this is a cleaned up version which I thought worth an airing
