Evercreech Junction
A cropped version of an earlier post
41208 refilling tanks at Evercreech Junction 21 April 1965
The clack valves are playing up, so the top cover was removed during the journey from Highbridge
The driver leaning against the water column is Ray Stokes, Templecombe link 1
It was a day when I set out from Bath on the 8.15 (73054), took the 9.55 to Highbridge (41296) and back on the 2,20 with 41208. Most of the day had been dull, but the sun came out during the afternoon
On the other platform is 76026 with Driver Kesteven who later gave me a footplate ride round the platforms before he departed with a stopper that connected with the Pines Express which hadn't passed through here for two and a half years
Taken with a Kodak Brownie Cresta 120, Kodak 125 asa home developed
