Lakes Express

45086 and 45321 head the Lakes Express north from Preston 23rd August 1965 as it eases out of the platform

I have always liked going away shots and this is one of my early attempts that I consider successful

 

I have posted this before, but at last I have a version that hides most of the original defects on the negative without losing too much detail after my latest efforts were cleaned up by John Goss
