LBLR in the 1960s (23 of 53)
Arnolds' No.43 (MR 10409) crossing over the Clipstone Brook on the Swing Swang bridge with a train of empty wagons bound for Double Arches. Trains would often be getting up speed here at the foot of the long gradient up to Vandyke Road level crossing; perhaps the bridge's unusual name indicated the swaying of the wagons as they passed over it? 9/1/1962
