Garsides' No.10 (MR 10272) passes through Bryan's Loop alongside Vandyke Road with a loaded train from Double Arches to Billington Road. Note the diameter of the wagon wheel; these were smaller than those generally used by Arnolds' on the main line. Whilst the latter used small wheeled wagons in their quarries, it was felt that the larger wheels were more stable for the faster speeds on the main line. 8/1/1962
