IC 1805 - Inside the Hreat Nebula
The Heart Nebula IC 1805 is an emission Nebula 7500 lightyears away in the constellation Perseus. The bright open star cluster in its center is called Melotte 15.
The image was shot in multiple frames through narrowband filters for the wavelenghts of Hydrogen-alpha, Oxygen III and Sulfur 2 and then recombined to an RGB image in the so called Hubble Palette (SHO). The stars have original RGB colors (not in the edges of the frame)
The camera was an ASI1600mmp attached to a TS 130/910 mm apo with 0,79x reducer.
Ha 55 x 240s
OIII 24 x 240s
SII 28 x 240s
(all Baader 7nm and 8nm filters)
