Macro Shell on a Macro Beach
Happy Macro Mondays! Here's my submission for the theme "Natural Shells". And yes, despite how this looks, this is a macro photograph, shot on a folding table in by bedroom. The shell is one intended for a small crab, purchased from a local pet shop, and was shot using Depth of Field Stacking. I'm quite pleased with the outcome. I can almost hear the ocean and seagulls overhead.
DOF Stacking:
This image was created by compiling a "stack" of 30 photos, each image shot incrementally focused nearest then farthest from the camera then compiled in Photoshop.
