Sisters!!! (I've been tagged!!!)

I have been tagged by Kitteh.PrincessTorchie.Sally!!; and her and James inspired me to share 16 buried treasures of me....

 

16. I am the oldest of the 4 daughters, Auntie to 7 neices (we don't seem to begat boys in my family!)

15. I was born at Madigan Army Hospital in Fort Lewis, WA while my father was serving in Japan during the Korean War

14. I graduated from the University of Victoria, with a degree in Urban Planning, and worked in many dept. in the Provincial Goverment for 25 years, before I choose a buy-out in 1999.

13. After my gov't career, I had many fun adventures working and playing....I was the snow queen at Red Mountian in Rossland, opening up the mtn every morning at 5 am and updating the snow phone and www to market the snow to all the skiiers and borders (and I did learn to snowboard!) as I could ski by 9 am every morning, I also worked at a physio and massage therapy clinic at the mountain, moved back to the coast and lived on Mayne Island for 5 years, where I was the marriage commisioner, and married many couples from around the world, (a beauty of a job), was a barista, fitness coach, and now a Personal Assistant to a professor and a doctor couple, where I have the pleasure of keeping thier lives organaized and plan parties and travel and flower agrranging and.....

12. I volunteer at the Senior Centre accross the street from my home and with the Special Olympics Athletes as the fotographer to capture all their special moments for thier www and marketing (I also am hostess on bus trips at the seniors centre, to out of town destinations and we all have a barrel of fun)

13. I love to garden and would be most happy to spend hours weeding and watering and enjoying what pops out of the ground.....

12. Tulips are my fave flower !?!? and lavender, calla lilies, gerbera and freesia are also faves of mine....and I love having fresh flowers fragrant my home

11. I have never been married and have no children (my 7 neices are my beloved angels from age 13 to 22) ha ha yes I have been in relationships and love to date!

10. I love to walk everyday with a goal of 10,000 healthy steps on my pedometer, work out at least 3 times at my fitness center and belong to a walking group

9. Other sports I love are skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, running, sailing, kayaking, softball and .....

8. Peridot Green and Purple are my fave colours (don't tell Cherish at Pinkalicious!)

7. I love to travel and have had many memorable adventures around the world (some faves...Hong Kong, the Greek Islands, Prague, Berlin, Dartmoor, the Costa Brava and Barcelona, Vienna, Budapest, Istanbul, Hana, Florida Keys, St Thomas, Cancun, PV .....and in March Manzanillo!

6. I am a natural red head with blue eyes and freckles

5. I am a graduate of the Klemmer and Associates www.klemmer.com personal and professional workshops and enjoy coaching at these (I have my Samurai Sword)

4. I love selling my paper casting, college and foto cards at Farmers Markets

3. Starfish and hearts are my favourite trigger devices that I surround myself with to remind to be a giver and come from my heart always

2. Food, yes please, I love anything cooked with lavender, sushi, Thai and Korean and Japaneses and Maylasian food, all seafood except oysters, fresh greens and herbs from the garden, (yes chocolate!, dark and fine) and cosmopolitans, Stella Artois Beer and all the locally crafted beer and wine on Vancouver Island
