Pink towel hood
(What happened last night?) I was very surprised at sudden flood of comments for this old picture. As you see, I took this shot on October 1, 2005.
My russian blue cat's Korean name in Yeoreum, meaning summer in English. "He"(not she) was born on April 28, 2002. He is optimistic and carefree about everything. I have never been forced him to do something for great pictures. I just snap a picture of his daily life. I took this picture with a compact digital camera, SONY DSC-T7 made in 2005. Thank you all for lovely comments! - 04/25/2009
*** Now I know what brings you here =) Nice to meet you! Have a great weekend!

*** For the people who are curious how he wears this pink towel hood and paper collars:
I tried this pink towel hood on him once because he doesn't like something on his head. He likes wearing something around his neck by himself, though.
You can see many pictures of him wearing a variety of collar-shaped papers, but I have never forced Yeoreum to wear paper collars. One day in his second year, I found him wearing a collar-shaped paper by himself and skipping about in the house. It was wrapping paper of a small flowerpot offered by Starbucks as a free gift. It was a very funny surprise to me. I thought it was just a mere accident, but he tries on everying in collar-shaped paper ever since. As you can see at a recent picture, he sometimes wears even two paper collars in a highly excited mood.
*** You can see many people wearing this towel hood, called "Yang-Meori", at Korean style sauna "Jjim-Jil-Bang". Please search for the Korean word "양머리" on the Korean web site like www.naver.com, www.daum.net, or google, if you want to see more "양머리" images. Yes, it also looks like Princess Leia's hairstyle.
Either way, the force is strong with this one^^;; - 04/26/2009
