Last year I took a photo of these twisted oaks on the very same morning another (much more popular/famous) photographer did. We weren't together, it was purely by chance and does prove that there is a recommended formula for a good composition. I must have seen that same composition a few dozen times by now, yet there is plenty more bounty to be had in these woods.
This was taken the same morning as 'the shot' but had lay rotting on a memory card until last night.
