We had dinner at the newly opened Atelier Crenn in San Francisco the other evening. Chef and owner Dominique Crenn came out and spoke with us several times, and the evening ended with me asking if I could photograph her and this particular tattoo. I asked her what the significance of the tattoo was and she explained that, to her, the girl looking at a flying pig signified reaching for and attaining one's dreams. Dominique is beautiful and was lovely to speak with. Oh, and she makes really delicious food.
