Untitled Tuck's puzzle
Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd
Popular Picture Puzzle
plywood
'about 70 pieces' (actually 72)
10½ x 8 in
I found this little Tuck's puzzle in a Ross-on-Wye charity shop and, despite the poor condition of the box, thought it worth the £1 they were asking for it. A quick check told me it was complete, although a little nifty glueing would be needed and there was a knob missing on one piece - hardly noticeable when assembled.
So, no title and no clue as to age... certainly vintage but beyond that? who knows...
There's very little information on the Jigasaurus website but a puzzle with a similar box is thought to be of 1930s date.
