Falls in the Clyde Corry Lynn - end of box showing details
Puzzleplex
P13302
plywood, hand-cut
317 pieces, used and complete
12x9in
2023 piece count: 29,253
puzzle no: 44
My first Puzzleplex puzzle is this small (317pcs) example, an eBay purchase that more than makes up for the wretched experience I've just had with a vintage Apollo Vera puzzle that had around 30 missing pieces (sold as unchecked so my own fault). Caveat emptor!
This one's complete and was an absolute joy to assemble yesterday. A plethora of whimsies, including the name 'Fiona', presumably the recipient.
The image is wrongly attributed to Edward Gill, it is in fact by Edmund Marriner Gill (1820-1894), a landscape artist known for his waterfall paintings. Similarly, the title should read 'Falls in the River Clyde, Corry Lynn'.
No date, and I have no idea which Stocken family member cut this little gem but I don't care, I'm just so thrilled to finally own a Puzzleplex.
UPDATE: Thanks to Bill Huot, who confirmed the cutter is Peter Stocken.
