Llangurig - St Curig's Church

Reputedly founded by St Curig (d. c550). The first solid evidence of its existence is in 1254.

The gabled lychgate (dating from the 18th century), seemingly providing the only access to the church, was in a lamentable state of repair when we visited, and the church was therefore closed to visitors.

Photo taken when we stopped off on our way to Aberystwyth.
