Rootes Maidstone, without that van!!!
This is the first time for a long time that I have seen this building by the River Len without that van being parked by the blue door !
This is now a Peugeot car dealer's with workshops that make (or made) small buses in the past, and was the premises oF William Rootes, the founder of the Rootes Group until taken over by Chrysler in 1968, after which it all went pear shaped with the help of the Government interference in transferring manufacturing to Linwood. Check Google using "William Rootes Maidstone" as search factors
Sky burnt in, building burnt in, bushes left held back - now HDR without programme
This is in Palace Avenue, Maidstone opposite the police station that was my first posting in 1965
