An action shot, from an amazing weekend in the south of portugal to

watch the portuguese leg of the World Rally Championship.

 

Rally Portugal left the world scene in 2001 upon a quadruple World

Champion's victory, that of Tommi Mäkinen. It has returned this year

to see a triple World Champion, Sébastien Loeb, claim victory.

 

This is Petter Solberg's car, that claimed second place after the 5

minute penalty given to all ford cars, including the one of Marcus

Grönholm, after a technical irregularity with the cars' rear side

windows.
