She watched me photograph the tree.

 

This young woman was sitting by one tree watching me take a photograph of another. She was fascinated by the pinhole camera. Conversation and photographs followed. There seems to be a pattern here.

 

In early May I drove down to Canandaigua, New York for an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon about my weird knee, which turned out to be a bone on bone right hip.

 

I was not going to drive that far and not stop at a local brewery. It was a Monday; the brewery that was open was Twisted Rail Brewing at the north end of Canandaigua Lake. It was a beautiful day. I drank my beer and ate my tacos out on the deck then went wandering.
