House Foundation Settling
A local structural engineer's remarks, regarding the issues at this property here in Littleton, is that, due to the types of soil along the Front Range, moisture caused the soil to swell and exert significant pressures against the foundation. In this photo, The downspout water is directed underground and may not be carrying the water far enough away from the foundation. The other notworthy item in this photo is the gas meter. The next photo shows the after photo of the work done and the 7 inch lift to the house to get it plumb again.
