Of all the jobs I have been asked to do, one of the strangest must be this afternoon's when I was honoured to lead Tim Castro's funeral cortege up from Warrior Square to Hastings Crematorium. DY 4965 is the only survivor from a fleet of trolleybuses once used in Hastings and owes its survival to a two-stroke Commer engine.
