Shiraito Waterfalls
白糸の滝
The waterfalls are figured by the water of spring water of Mt.Fuji.
Only the main fall (left) is created by the river.
The height is 20m and the width is 150m.
It's one of the most big spring water and the sight is beautiful.
After the registration to World Cultural Heritage, the renewal of waking way had finished.
今日の掲載は地元静岡より、おなじみ白糸の滝です。
一番左の本流は川原の水ですが、残りは新富士火山層と水を通さない
古富士火山層の境目から湧き出る富士山の湧水で形成されています。
富士の湧水は各所で見られますが、水量が多く、この美しい景観は独特で、
高さは20m、幅は150mになります。
この冬、遊歩道と橋の架け替えが完了し、売店も移転して新しく生まれ変わりました。
