Bryce Canyon
The first upload of my recent trip to the US South West region.
This is the sunrise just under sunset point in Bryce Canyon National Park, when I shot this I knew I had a beautiful shot and indeed I love it! I hope you like it too. As usual when traveling the 'South West' you're not alone, but atleast I was the only one getting this shot that day :) Everybody was concentrating on the sunburst on Thor's Hammer, which I skipped :)
Technically this is pure Lightroom, I'm moving away from HDR lately because the D800 has such a good sensor (*) that I don't need it anymore to get the look I want.
(*) When it's clean... When shooting a high diaphragm (f22 to get the rays), all the dust spots are focused and come through too, which resulted in about 45! spots in the sky, but with LR 5 it's easy to remove with the new 'visualize spots' when using the spot removal tools.
