Digestion of curds

Beaker on the left shows curds without bacterial protease. Beaker on the right has curds with bacterial protease. The liquid is clear in this beaker because the protease has completely digested the curd particles that were suspended in the whey. The whey in the left beaker is clouldy because there are small undigested particles of curd suspended in the whey.
