"Sky Terrace"

super-modernist rowhouses from $500s. Wandered inside the models ("Guggenheim" and "Pompidou"), and they're almost laughably decked out inside -- a steel-surfaced kitchen island as big as the California King platform bed upstairs. (Felt too uncomfortable photographing inside, though, even though the sales agent was nowhere to be seen.) The designers combined the obvious DWR catalog references with the standard model-home sense of Going Way Over The Top. Weird. They do all have "rooftop" decks with gas fireplaces, though, which had nice views. In fact, one home had four gas fireplaces. Again, photos to come

(Note: it really did just rain. I never understood why, but California real estate photos always have wet pavements.)
