Compared to Alpsee near Hohenschwangau in Bavaria, Germany and Brienzersee and Thurnersee near Interlaken, Bachalpsee is in a league of its own. High above the rest, at about 2250 meters, the lake overlooks Wetterhorn and Schreckhorn of the alpine range. I had hiked for an hour from the First station and was waiting patiently for the waters to be still. It was more the fear of not getting what I had hiked for, as the day was drawing close to sundown. Luckily, the water was still for a couple of shots and this is one of the better ones.
