Stranger #67 - Tony
I wasn't even looking for a stranger but Tony was interested in greeting the folks around him. Me? I was busy chatting with my cousin at the October Fest in Bear Mountain (New York) and photographing the Autumn leaves that surrounded me . They were glowing red, yellow and orange. That's when I heard a hello and a question about my camera.
After a few words about photography, Tony mentioned that he was a personal chef and gave me his card. His goal is to encourage his clients to eat healthy... a similar goal for me as well.
Then I had that thought that leads one to ask the "stranger project" question. My cousin looked at me strangely... talking to strangers... as I asked Tony to particate and without hesitation, he said yes. I took a couple of shots and we parted with a promise ... that I would send him a copy of this photo. It was great meeting Tony in such beautiful surroundings.
This picture is #67 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at www.flickr.com/groups/100strangers/
