Stranger #1 - Veronica
This is Veronica. I met her at a school event -- Nutrition Olympics and she was volunteering to help students run the vegetable relay race. She was warm and friendly and seemed slightly reluctant to have her photo taken because she didn't know if her makeup was right.
When she agreed to be photographed, she took her hood off and stared directly at me and said she was ready. I took a few shots with her looking dead into the camera but it didn't show anything interesting. I tried stepping to the side so that I could get a side view and she kept turning with me as we talked about the economy, jobs, working full time vs. part time. Finally, I asked her to hold still so that I could get a different angle and here is the shot.
She would like to volunteer for other events and even travel to other places and serve others. She is very nice and I wish her well in all of her endeavors. This is my first one and I enjoyed the experience.
