It's a Hummingbird's Life
I went to a botanical garden to photograph flowers and while I was there I saw dozens of hummingbirds darting around. I tried to photograph them but as soon as I would get close enough to get a decent photo, they flew away. Unsuccessful, I decided to rest in the shade by laying my head on my camera bag on a bench. I closed my eyes but heard a lot of bird racket in the tree above me. When I looked up, I saw this bird about four feet from me deep within the tree. He waited while I retrieved my camera and got this snapshot. And I'm not making this up. :-)
