Silent lament

I’d be lying if I said the view in this photo didn’t move me, even just a little. One tree stands on the shore, while the other, lifeless, lies submerged in the water. I named the photo Silent Lament because, to me, it reflects the striking contrast between life and transience. The water further enhances the sense of silence and melancholy. I hope you’ll like it too.
