After the voting was closed at 9:00 pm about one thousand Romanians still wated, some for more than 6 hours, to cast their votes for the Romanian presidential election.
When it became clear that they would be prevented from voting a spontaneuous protest erupted which was eventually ended by the Bavarian police locking the Consulate General. People went on cheering "vrem sa votam" ("we want to vote") for an hour.
