Photographing Onaping Falls, Sudbury, April 2022 MK30228
This is a photo of my wife photographing at Onaping Falls near Sudbury. The trail to the falls is closed for now, but we found an unmarked path further north that allows you to reach a bridge over the falls. It is a treacherous, steep path over a ridge with a lot of ice and snow over covering it. My wife fell repeatedly on the way down the steep slope and eventually gave up. I continued and the first set of photos were taken then. A week later, some of the snow and ice melted and my wife put on crampons and we tried again. We spent a lot of time at the falls and I will post great many photos from there ;-). Here is a photo of my wife from the path leading to the bridge on our second trip.
This image is essentially unprocessed - I only brought out the shadows a bit - it was a very bright, sunny day. Shot at 1/2 sec, handheld and ND filter free.
