Courthouse Falls Panorama
Courthouse Falls is in the Pisgah National Forest on Courthouse Creek. The headwaters of this creek spring from the slope of a rock formation on the Blue Ridge Parkway called "Devil's Courthouse.". The falls are reached by an easy 20 minute hike once you drive the three miles up a bumpy dirt road to the trail head on Forest Road 140.
This panorama consists of 7 upright frames) I initially took enough eposures for an HDR pano, but took the easy way out. Really, the only high contrast was in the waterfall anyway. Sorry about the blowing leaves in the upper left. There was no way around that with 30 sec exposures.
