Buoy

I took this in 1993, long before the 'strobe' was all the rage.

First learnt about off-camera small flash when studying photography with Obie Oberholzer in the 1987. Wild times.

In this shot I made my own light using a Metz 45. Flashed several times. Shot on Pentax 67 (great cameras) using Fuji film. The exposure was around 2 minutes.

This image has won awards, been exhibited numerous times and I was fortunate enough to sell prints of it to private collectors of fine art photography.
