Luci.Rolleiflex.April17
I've been struggling to find reasons to make photographs for the last two months since Isabel died (our 17 year old senior cat: flic.kr/p/7RrNEo), but I push to make photos of anything. I don't have a theme in mind, and in fact, most of what I am doing is in "snapshot" territory - nothing special, no "Big Art" goals or desires. I just want to make photographs for the sake of doing it, and I guess that's okay.
Getting out the Rolleiflex and exposing a roll is therapy. Way better than doing nothing.
Luci, photographed under the Walnut tree last night, with the Rolleiflex 2.8E (Planar) and Kodak Tmax 400 developed in stock Mytol (6 minutes). Straight Mytol delivers very smooth tones.
1/30th of a second at f4.5
That Planar lens is spectacular. But so is TMY.
