Roots Study 2020, No. 8
Photographed on 4x5 inch CatLabs X80 film, processed in Xtol.
Camera: Intrepid 4x5
Lens: Kodak Wide Field Ektar 100mm
This had to be exposed at 12 ASA to record acceptable shadow information, and I had to guess at the reciprocity, making this a 90 second exposure. It does make a nice image, but its more work to extract the shadow information via software. Interestingly, the exposure of this film (which is almost half the box speed of Ilford's Delta 100) required four times the exposure as did a similar photo made on Ilford Delta 100. I see no point in buying more of this in the future, since the modest savings aren't worth the hassle this film is to process.
