Washington State Coast USA

How this was done.

I took several shots of this frame and picked out the frames I liked the most and stacked those frames into one shot.

I did a few long exposures and used the one I liked for the beach as I wanted the water showing motion flowing back into the ocean. Also I took shots a little faster shutter speed of the same frame and used the ocean part to mask in the wave I liked the most, I still wanted motion but not as much so you can still see the wave, but it dose have some motion so the image remains balanced.

Next I used 4 shots to build the sky.

The sky was changing for the time I shot this same frame.

So I was able to piece together the changing conditions and light by masking the sky in with the parts I wanted.

If you want to stack many shots into one final shot, make sure your tripod dose not move so all the shots line up properly.

I shot as many frames of this that I could before the water came in with the tide to when I had to move.
