The Easter Tree in the City of London [Explored 19th April 2014]

The multicolored, hand-painted eggs that decorate the artistic Easter Tree in the Avenue of Devonshire Square, bring a joyful and festive atmosphere to London's business district. All eggs displayed are real, some were painted with water colors, some were dyed using red onion skins and others were hanged on hand-knitted egg-holders.

The installation has been conceived and created by the Devonshire Square Team with the aim of raising awareness and funds to support the Honeypot Children Charity, a UK based organisation that has been working since 1996 to enhance the lives of vulnerable children and young carers age 5-12.

The Easter Tree is sponsored by the D&D’s restaurants based in Devonshire Square.

If you wish to donate to the charity, please visit the following webpage: www.honeypot.org.uk/donate-now/

Wishing you all an enjoyable Easter :-)
